Who I Am

Hi there, I'm Bianca Work.

I'm a principal quantitative researcher and cross-functional team leader who has worked at companies like Adobe, Indeed, and Splunk. I help connect customer experience, product performance, and business outcomes, enabling clear, defensible decisions across the product ecosystem and lifecycle.

I do this by combining quantitative methods, data science, and predictive modeling to help move teams from understanding what happened to anticipating what's next so they can decide with foresight.

This work led me to build Alvio, an insight infrastructure platform designed to solve a consistent problem I've solved: fragmented signals, misaligned teams, and decisions that come too late.

I also contribute to the fields of UX, data science, and AI development through writing, speaking, and teaching.

WHAT I DO

I work across the full product development lifecycle to ensure teams are building the right things, for the right users, in ways that drive meaningful outcomes.

Most organizations treat the user, the product, and the business as separate considerations. I bring them together into a single lens for how value is defined, delivered, and measured.

I believe we can build systems that are truly human-centered, serving the people who use them, the teams who build them, and the business outcomes they’re meant to drive. The best systems don’t optimize for one at the expense of the others. They align user needs, product decisions, and business goals so value is clear, shared, and sustainable.

Stage 01 · Discover

Discover & Define

Who is the user, and what are they trying to do?

At this stage, my focus is setting a foundation with enough clarity and structure that holds over time. Even as products evolve, these inputs don’t: who the user is, what they are trying to accomplish, and how we deliver value to them in a way that matters.

Stage 02 · VALIDATE

Validate & Define Value

What's the offer, who pays for it, and why?

Here I focus on defining what should be built, for whom, and what it’s worth before engineering begins. The goal is to make value explicit, quantify tradeoffs, and forecast the impact of decisions before they’re made.

Stage 03 · BUILD

Design, Build & Deliver

How does the experience hold up at scale?

Now I focus on ensuring what gets built delivers the value it was designed for, in both concept and practice. The goal is to create a shared, reliable view of performance so teams can make decisions consistently and improve over time at scale.

Stage 04 · GROW

Grow & Decide What's Next

Where's the risk, where's the opportunity, what's the next move?

Then I focus on identifying where to invest, intervene, and prioritize next. I use predictive modeling, leading indicators, and prioritization frameworks to surface risk early, quantify opportunity, and guide decisions as the product evolves.

Stage 05 · SYSTEMATIZE

Activate & Close the Loop

Did it work, what did we learn, what changes?

I focus on turning outcomes into systems that can be tracked, improved, and scaled over time. I design workflows that translate results into action, measure impact, and feed learnings into the next cycle. The goal is to ensure each iteration builds on the last, so insight compounds and decisions improve over time.

What is Alvio

Alvio transforms fragmented feedback, performance data, and business outcomes into structured decision systems across the product lifecycle.

Insight Infrastructure

Alvio sets the foundation. Then it orchestrates what comes next.

At Alvio I help organizations define user types and understand what they value, then align product and GTM strategy around those needs. From there, we measure ecosystem performance, identify leading indicators, prioritize opportunities, attribute impact, and turn what's learned into systems that improve over time.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

A lot of my work lives in systems, strategy, and abstract thinking. So, when I'm offline I like doing things that are tangible, real, and grounded in the world around me.

I spend a lot of time gardening, sewing, writing, creating neighborhood art projects, and paying attention to the wildlife around me. Here is a little glimpse into that part of my life.
